JENNIFER PLECAS

I'm an illustrator, writer and designer living and working in the Kansas City metro.

I've illustrated over 40 children's books, several of which I wrote and illustrated.

​

Children's book clients include Penguin Random House, Macmillan, Abrams, HarperCollins, Candlewick and Clarion.  Honors and awards include several ALA Notables, Junior Library Guild Selections, and CCBC Choice Selections, among others.

I've also created writing, designs and artwork for hundreds of greeting cards and related products for Hallmark, Recycled Paper Greetings, and American Greetings including projects featured in Target and Cost Plus/World Market.
